The Services PMI edged up 0.1 pt in July 2026 to 54.1, short of the 54.5 consensus. Business activity jumped 3.7 pts to 59.1 and new orders rose 2.1 pts to 57.2 — but employment fell 3.8 pts to 47.4, through the 50 line, while prices paid rose 2.6 pts to 70.3. No prior month was revised.
